Class Policies

 

Registration fee:

There is an annual registration fee of $15 ($10 for 2nd and 3rd child in same family) that includes a t-shirt. This fee is non-refundable. Be sure to include the child’s t-shirt size on your registration form.  Parents may purchase t-shirts for $12 if they choose.  Parents may also have “Kayla’s Mom” added to the back of their shirt for $3 (total of $15 for parent shirt with name on the back.)

Tuition

Class fees are $38 per month ($40 per month at the YMCA).

Three payment options are available for tuition; yearly, quarterly, or monthly.  Tuition is a yearly amount that is already pro-rated for holidays.  Tuition is not pro-rated based on a students’ attendance.  We will offer snow make-up days when classes are canceled due to weather.  Tuition for the 2011-2012 school year is as follows:

Additional Policies

  • A second class for the same child is $20 per month.
  • 2nd child in same family receives a 30% discount.
  • 3rd child in same family receives a 40% discount.
  • Any student with a balance showing on their account on May 10th 2012 will not be allowed to participate in the end of the year program.

 

Recital costumes for girls

  • Each girl will need to order a recital costume.  We have 2 costume payment dates – October 1st and November 1st.  Class students have two $24 payments (1 due Oct. 1st and 1 due Nov. 1st).  Team students have two $27 payments (1 due Oct. 1st and 1 due Nov. 1st).  Each costume includes tights if needed.   

Boys outfits for end of the year program

  • Each boy will receive a “Tuff Tumbler” t-shirt that comes with their registration fee (additional shirts may be purchased for $10).  Boys also wear this t-shirt, khaki shorts of their choice, and tennis shoes for their end of the year program.   

Recital Fee: 

  • A $25 per family recital fee is due by March 1st.   This fee includes a trophy for each child and unlimited door admission for all who choose to attend the recital. 

Holidays & Snow:

  • Classes are not held on Labor Day, Thanksgiving Break (Wed & Thurs), Christmas Break, and Spring Break. Classes are held on all other school holidays such as Presidents Day, Election Day, teacher work days, etc. In case of inclement weather, we follow the school’s decision concerning classes. If schools are closed we will not have class but will have a make-up day. However, if schools operate on a delay we will still have classes.

What to wear:

  • All students should wear comfortable clothes that are easy to move in on their class day. Girls may wear cotton shorts or pants, t-shirts, tanks, leotards, tights, etc. Dance shoes are strongly encouraged. Discouraged items are blue jeans, skirts, flip flops, and jewelry. Boys may wear t-shirts, basketball style shorts, warm-up pants, etc. and tennis shoes are great.
